I am just a normal girl with no special talents and have always felt very ordinary. Don't get me wrong, I have been very blessed in the life I have been given and am loved by the most incredible boy.I love reading blogs and writing them as well so I thought why not write about something that I am becoming extremely passionate about...Make-Up. I have no formal training as a make-up artist nor do I call myself an expert. I want to blog about everything as I experiment, succeed and fail to help other girls out there feel special and confident. I struggle with it myself, not feeling comfortable in my own skin. I used to find myself wishing I had better eyebrows or skin or lashes. It took me a long time to figure out that I can't change those things so figure out how to use them to my benefit! There are so many inspirational people out there and I want to learn and help in any way I can.
Make-up started as a very intimidating and foreign industry to me. I have a love/hate relationship with stores like Sephora & Nordstrom. There are so many beautiful girls recommending products and asking questions about my face routine, and it even made me avoid the nice woman trying to give me a perfume sample. I would avoid those counters and beautiful women because I didn't know a darn thing about the difference between a foundation and a concealer! I was a make-up virgin if you will and I didn't know where to start. I knew how to apply some eyeshadow (not very well) and wear mascara, and I knew that I could wear foundation to cover up those stupid mean acne spots but that is about it. I am still learning each and everyday but I want to share my experiences with all of you and help you to feel confident and beautiful!
